The life story
Two thousand words about a holiday in Tuscany, three video ads and a cookie banner, all before you reach the oven temperature.
Guided Kitchen turns any recipe link, from a blog, YouTube, Instagram or TikTok, into a clean page you can keep, edit and cook from.
One email when it's your turn. Nothing else.

Saved · never seen again
It looked perfect at 11pm. Now it’s somewhere in your saved posts, and the quantities were only ever said out loud.
“Double the garlic”
Oil-stained, pencilled, irreplaceable. And the only copy lives in a drawer.
How it works
Four things Guided Kitchen does for you. That's it. That's the whole app.
01 · Import
From food blogs, YouTube, Instagram reels and TikTok. We strip the ads, the ramble, the SEO padding. You get clean ingredients and a method you can actually cook from.
02 · Make edits
Make edits to any recipe — your tweaks, your timings, your private notes in the margins. The original stays pristine. Your version stays yours.
03 · Organise
Favourites. Cook Later. Sunday Bakes. Your mum's recipes. Make the collections that match your brain, not a generic taxonomy. Share one with your family or a flatmate — everyone can add.
04 · Follow
Subscribe to publishers, newsletters, and creators. New recipes land in your feed — no algorithm, no rage bait, no "one weird trick". Just the people whose cooking you already love.
Who it's for
You self-select in. The wrong person self-selects out. We both get a calmer waitlist.

My recipes lived in four places: screenshots, a Notes app, a drawer of torn-out magazine pages, and my head. I wanted a calmer home for them, couldn't find one that felt right, so I'm making it.

The private beta is running now. I'm inviting small batches every week or two so I can talk to everyone who joins. A wider launch is planned for later in 2026, though I'd rather it be right than on time.
It's free for everyone during the beta. At launch there will be a paid plan to keep the lights on. Early users get a substantial discount, and the recipes you've saved stay yours to view even if you never pay.
Almost any recipe website or food blog, plus YouTube videos, Instagram posts and reels, and TikTok, including videos where the cook never wrote the recipe down. Importing from a photo of a cookbook page or from pasted text is being built.
Yes. Your library is yours, and you'll be able to export everything in a standard format. No lock-in.
No. AI does the dull part: pulling the ingredients and steps out of a cluttered page or a video. It never invents recipes and never rewrites the cook's method. What you save is the real recipe, tidied up.
