Terms of use

These terms cover www.guidedkitchen.com: the website, the waitlist, the feature board and the free kitchen tools. The Guided Kitchen app has its own terms, which you'll agree to when you create an account.

Using this website

You're welcome to read, share and link to anything here. Please don't copy large parts of the site to republish elsewhere, try to break or overload it, or use automated tools to sign up or vote.

The waitlist

Joining the waitlist doesn't create an account or commit you to anything. We invite people in batches and can't promise when your invite will arrive. You can ask to be removed at any time.

The feature board

Voting helps us decide what to build, but it isn't a promise that a feature will be built, or built by a certain date. One vote per email address per feature. Voting adds your email to the waitlist.

The free tools

The converters and timer are provided free and as they are. Conversions between weight and volume depend on the ingredient and how it's measured, so treat them as a careful estimate. For baking, and anywhere precision matters, weigh your ingredients. Please don't rely on the kitchen timer for anything where a missed alert could cause harm: your browser or device may pause it, and it can't sound if your device is muted or asleep.

Other people's recipes

Blog posts link to recipes on other sites and credit the cooks who wrote them. Those sites have their own terms, and we're not responsible for their content.

Liability

We take care over everything we publish, but we can't accept liability for losses arising from using this website, except where the law doesn't allow us to exclude it. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
